Hi! My name is Kim, and I’m the mama behind this blog. Thanks so much for visiting!
Complete Mama is a journey, not a statement. It is all about maintaining faith while finding balance, peace, and wholeness through whatever life dishes out. My goal is to share about this journey in a way such that you can relate it to your own experiences.
My personal journey includes dealing with chronic health issues. I have had Hashimoto’s Disease since I was a teenager and have recently been diagnosed with more autoimmune issues and Lyme Disease, which I continue to battle while caring for my children.
I have two children, ages 4 and 2, and they are forever teaching me all I need to know about life. We also deal with food allergies. My 4-year-old is allergic to peanuts and tree nuts and is also asthmatic. My 2-year-old is allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, milk, soy, eggs, coconut, peas, and sesame seeds.
I was a full-time working mom until the birth of my second child, and I am now a stay at home mom. My previous career was in software engineering/computer programming. I have a degree in Computer Science and also an MBA.
I enjoy running, reading, sports, and the outdoors. I’m unable to run at the moment due to my health issues, but I hope to get back to it someday in the future.
I try to always be kind, patient, and loving. Sometimes I fail. Everyday I pray for God to help me do better.
This is my story right now, and it’s changing all the time. I invite you to follow along with my journey, and I’d love it if you’d connect with me through the comments sections on this blog and on Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest.
Thank you for stopping by!
